This proposal for a substantial development on the beach at Boomerang attempted to address the complicated brief of having two houses that could function separately and completely privately, but also work as a single dwelling when required. The resulting scheme again draws heavily on the courtyard architecture of South East Asia, with integrated water features and walled garden courtyards being key features of the design.
